We provide a sustainable removals service for businesses
Our sustainability initiatives
We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint. As proud partners of Recycle Scotland, becoming a sustainable removal company is at the heart of our operations. We know that there is work to be done both at an organisational level and at an individual level to meet our ecological goals. We are pleased to hold a SEPA Certificate Of Registration Under The Control Of Pollution (Amendment) Act 1989 Regulation Authority.
We also have a number of sustainable initiatives
- Transport efficiency: We track and monitor our fuel and milage through the use of monthly reports. We then review these to see where improvements can be made.
- Waste reduction: At the commencement of every project, we prepare an Environmental Waste and Recyling plan, to ensure the project is completed as sustainably as possible. Once the plan is signed off, we regularly return to it to ensure we’re meeting our goals.
- Responsible Disposal: We also use responsible waste collectors, such as EIS for any Construction and Demolition waste and John Lawrie / Panda Rosa for recyclable metals. At present 97.4% of our waste and electrical equipment is fully diverted from landfill.
- Sustainable packaging: In order to make our packaging eco-friendly, we do not use cardboard boxes for our materials. We also pack the majority of your equipment with reusable blankets rather than with disposable materials.
